Martinborough Vineyard Accommodation
The Old Café Cottage is self contained and overlooks the fruit trees of the Haythornthwaite vineyard in the heart of Martinborough wine country.
Located a short walk from the Martinborough village, many vineyards are within 15 minute walking distance.
Equipment and Amenities Available
The Vineyard cottage is open plan, containing a queen sized bed and a single bed. A trundle bed is available for a child or extra adult.
There are two toilets, a shower, a full kitchen, and a woodburner. Outside there is a large deck with a table and chairs.
All bed linen and towels, soap and toilet paper etc are provided as well as a clock radio and hairdryer. In the living area there is a TV with a Freeview decoder, a video and DVD player, and a CD player / Tape deck. A selection of CD's, videos and DVD's are available for your use.
Additional small mattresses are available for young children.
Kitchen Facilities include a fridge, oven, hob, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, electric jug, pots and pans, cutlery, crockery & glasses.
Milk, bread, butter, spreads, cereals and tea & coffee etc, are provided for a continental breakfast.
A 3-burner gas barbecue on the deck is also available for your use.
Full laundry facilities are available on the back porch.
The tariff for The Old Café Cottage, for Summer 2016, is $190 for the first night for two adults, $140 for the second night, and then $110 per night for further consecutive nights. A special rate for longer stays can be negotiated. Children under 14 are free, but there is a surcharge of $30 per night for each additional adult.
From the beginning of May 2016, until the start of Daylight Saving we have a Winter Special. Stay for two nights, but just pay for one night and have a late checkout. Come and enjoy a snug weekend in a cosy cottage with a very warm logburner fire!
Haythornthwaite wines are also available for sale. – cottage bookings enjoy a free tasting and a discount off the price.
